The FNSSP supports educators in three main areas – school plans, assessments and performance measurement with a focus on literacy, numeracy and student retention. TNEGI’s most active work has been in supporting FNSSP. The results of collaboration across schools have begun to show.
The group feels its FNSSP progress illustrates the value of a school support approach that can address specific issues in each location, the need for an aggregate education service body and the limits the present system is creating on further success.
